CartKeeper partnered with VowelWeb to build a scalable Shopify application that helps merchants recover abandoned carts through WhatsApp and engage shoppers throughout their buying journey.
VowelWeb developed an asynchronous backend using Google Cloud Pub/Sub and Firestore for reliable event processing and scalable background operations. The embedded Shopify admin was built with Remix and Polaris, while a decoupled WhatsApp architecture provided flexibility for messaging provider integrations.

The client envisioned CartKeeper as an all-in-one Shopify platform to help merchants recover abandoned carts and engage shoppers through WhatsApp. It combines automated cart recovery, bulk campaigns, AI shopping assistance, revenue tracking, and subscription management in one easy-to-use solution, with QR-code onboarding, message testing, large-store support, and multilingual experiences.
